西施     西施，名夷光，春秋战国时期出生于浙江诸暨苎萝村。时越国称臣于吴国，越王勾践卧薪尝胆，谋复国。在国难当头之际，西施忍辱负重，以身许国，与郑旦一起由越王勾践献给吴王夫差，成为吴王最宠爱的妃子。把吴王迷惑得众叛亲离，无心国事，为勾践的东山再起起了掩护的作用。后吴国终被勾践所灭。传说吴被灭后，与范蠡泛舟五湖，不知所终。

昭君     汉宣帝时匈奴贵族争夺权力，势渐衰落，五个单于分立，互相攻打不休。其中呼韩邪单于，被他的哥哥郅支单于打败。呼韩邪决心跟汉朝和好，亲自朝见汉宣帝。汉宣帝死了后，他的儿子刘奭即位，就是汉元帝。公元前33年，呼韩邪单于再一次到长安，要求和亲。元帝许。汉朝和匈奴和亲，都得挑个公主或者宗室的女儿。这回，汉元帝决定挑个宫女给他，他吩咐人到后宫去传话：“谁愿意到匈奴去，皇上就把她当公主看待。”有个宫女叫王嫱，号昭君，长得美丽，有见识，自愿到匈奴去和亲。元帝遂择日让呼韩邪单于和王昭君在长安成亲。

貂蝉     貂蝉是东汉末年司徒王允的歌女，国色天香，有倾国倾城之貌。貂蝉见东汉王朝被大臣董卓所纵，表示愿为主人分忧。王允于是设下连环计，先把貂蝉暗地里许给吕布，再明把貂蝉献给董卓。吕布、董卓都是好色之人，貂蝉周旋于两人之间，把二人撩拨得神魂颠倒。吕布自董卓收貂蝉入府为姬之后，心怀不满。一日，吕布乘董卓上朝时，入董卓府探貂蝉，并邀凤仪亭相会，貂蝉见吕布，假意哭诉被董卓霸占之苦，吕布愤怒。这时董卓回府撞见，怒而抢过吕布的方天画戟直刺吕布，吕布飞身逃走，从此两人互相猜忌，王允便说服吕布，铲除了董卓。
