<P>在功能与参数上，索尼DCR-PC55E可能很难胜过其他这个价位上的产品，但是PC55E有个绝对杀手级的优点———特别轻巧，仅有290克。这样的重量仅相当其他品牌同档次产品的一半。数码摄像机朝两个方向分别发展，一方面高端的机型越来越专业，拍摄的功能与效果也无与伦比，另一方面，DV也日趋轻薄小巧，这样才方便随身携带，更方便随时拍摄。尤其对于[wiki]女性[/wiki][wiki]消费[/wiki]者，难道指望美女手持一块“砖头”进行拍摄，这时像索尼PC55E这样的超轻薄产品就会成为MM们的最爱。
<P>虽然体积小，但是索尼PC55E的解析度仍然不差，达到520线。这样的清晰度超过用于刻录DVD所需要的480线，而且还具有3.0英寸的超大取景液晶屏，触摸式操作非常直观。目前，索尼PC55E的售价约在5000元左右，但是如果在大卖场中，大约4800元左右就可以[wiki]交易[/wiki]。
